Community Access Trail to the Bump & Grind Trail
The Rancho Mirage Community Association has negotiated an agreement with the Coachella Valley Water District and other controlling parties to allow residents’ access to the Bump & Grind Trail. This process took two years of hard work on the part of the Trails Committee and RMCA Board.
This is a restricted Community Access Trail (CAT). It is located adjacent to the CVWD water tanks situated in the southeasterly corner of Magnesia Falls Cove where Magnesia Falls Drive ends. It is available only to RMCA members and residents and their authorized guests.
Access is by permit only. Those not holding a Trail Pass may be cited for trespassing by the Rancho Mirage Police or Sheriff’s Department.
If you are a new owner, your trail fees were collected at escrow. If you desire more than one pass for family members and authorized quests, please fill out the application form and mail it, together with any appropriate fee(s), to the RMCA ~ P.O. Box 93, Rancho Mirage, CA 92270.
Upon receipt of your application and fee(s), you will receive a copy of the legal agreement with the CVWD, a map of the location of the Community Access Trail, and Trail Rules and Regulations agreement. Please read and understand these documents, as they are the underlying basis for the issuance of the Trail Pass. Upon receipt of these agreements, each individual receiving a Pass will be asked to sign a copy of the Trail Rules and Regulations and mail it to the RMCA. We will then issue your Trail Pass(s).
